ACCOMMODATIONS FOR HORSES AND CARRIAGES

We feature clean, light and airy 12' x 12' box stalls for horses and ponies. We provide your choice of either straw or pine shavings. Private daily turnout is available in beautiful and safe 4 "board" Centaur fencing.  We charge a nominal fee of ten dollars per horse per day to cover the cost of stall bedding.

We feed Buckeye Products at the Inn and are happy to provide your equine friends with same, or you may supply your own grain of choice. Our hay is top quality 1st and 2nd cutting, a grass and timothy blend. Again, if you prefer, you may supply your own hay.  

Our outdoor arena features a very nice all weather footing. In addition, bridle and driving paths run throughout the 105 acre property for your enjoyment. Also, our surrounding roads are quiet and trail riders abound.

For those bringing carriages, we provide safe, dry, inside storage for your turnouts, with easy access. The carriage barn is located approximately 200 feet from the main barn with plenty of safe, clear, graveled area for putting to.


ACCOMMODATIONS FOR DOGS

Polite pooches are always welcome at The Dog and Pony Inn. We are ourselves, a licensed show kennel and we understand the needs of your canine companions. Dogs are allowed in your rooms with supervision and we are also happy to provide clean, safe crates for your room should you desire. As with horses, daily turnout is available for dogs. We find the canine stomach to be a bit more delicate than the equine so please, supply your own dog food. Please let us know the size and breed of your pet so that we may adequately provide for their in-room water, crate and also turnout/exercise needs.


Please Note:  Because we purchase perishable fresh foods and other extras for our guests the day before they arrive, cancellation of reservations MUST be made at least 48 hours in advance or will be subject to full charges.
